the shift

the shift started last fri.
the mattress arrived b4 we can even view the place.
anyway..the state of the hse just shocked us.
i was not happy with the carpets, there are so many stains n the manager said they had cleaned up the carpet already.
doors are old and some are damaged.
shower glasses had algae! gross
washing machine area had rusty marks.
cooking stove is in a more sad state.
It is the old style stove, where it is made of metal coils.
they are so bad until the coils sinks down, i really wonder how the previous tenants cooked their meals. we shall find out soon. thinking to chg it BUT it is tricky. have to find out.
weather is hot now...might wanna install air con esp the 2nd storey.
It is not that convenient to get one cos need to write into the body corporate to ask for permission. sigh.

I think kei is super upset when he cant drive the car down into the garage cos the slope in front of the hse is so steep that it just scrap the bottom of his car b4 u can even reach half of the slope.
tried many n diff angles n still cant enter. sigh.. ya have a garage and yet cant drive in.

The state of the hse shocked us, and knowing we cant drive into the garage is really discouraging.
so we decided to try to make the place as comforty as possible. bit by bit.
First make over is to paint the walls , starting with the study room first.
we got the paints already. will be creamy white.
our first time to paint, will be interesting.

doors will be next but that will be later, when his dad is here.
what else..hmm... oooh the insect net for windows and doors.
gosh..many insects already flew in thru all the holes. :( hate it.
also to think of ways to cover the stains on the carpet and many more.

ya back in the prev place now to do the cleaning up now.
wa..i just get super disgusted at the sight when i enter the hse.
they just mess up the place once we move out.
gross hsemates.
they better clean up for inspection tmr morning at 11am. they are so horrible pple.
kei volunteered to clean up the kitchen later (i hate them, cos they mess up the kitchen most n made my kei suffer.)
Friends who were over to help the shift last wkend gave a disgusted face and said the kitchen is messy and dirty.
As usual, the hsemates just closed their doors once they see that we are shifting.
another fren came to help after his work ard 7pm.so sweet.
the m'sian guy hsemate only came out when this fren came over.
and pretend to be nice n asked me if i've anything to move.
i said: ah..no need lar.
think to myself: wa..so fake, do such a show in front of this guy who is also m'sian. puke.
trying to be nice n help to move out.
i think he is so happy we are moving out.
can really feel he is not helping out sincerely..he has a motive and i was right.
he was trying to get some info of the internet account n get kei's contact if anything went wrong at the place.
argh.. i really super dislike the new hsemates.

but i do miss this place. Mainly cos it is located at a convenient location and also the memories.
anyway, moving on n hv to set up the new place.
staying near Kenneth, going over almost each wk to see Rover.
he is still so hyper. Hhehe..he got a bad scolding yst from biting the birds' toys.erm..dots..
i really dunno how he did it.

hopefully my Internet will be up soon ..sometime this wk i hope.
will show photos once the place is up n set.
and that will means hse warming time too. ^^

oh lastly, thanks to those who had helped in the shift.
v much appreciated.
It is sure a hard work.
spent a total of 14hrs.gosh..
guess if there is another move, that will be done by movers. :P
